I know because of Fakebook Fake checkers and Wiki that the teaching has been called erroneous. however if you want to know the truth you can find it in theological teachings that have been
around for centuries. The 16 & 17 centuries were tumultuous because of Tyrannical Religious controls. The 12 Days of Christmas were taught to help with the basic Biblical teachings because the Church itself did not want the common man reading the bible for themselves and even made it law that no teaching should be done outside the church walls.
